Departure early from Fes at 7:30 h then across the mountain of Middle Atlas; firstly approaching IFRAN city. In the dune of MERZOUGA ERG CHEBBI dunes are bean shaped and cover an area 30km long and around 5-10km wide. This is a region of nomad Berbers, as opposed to ZAGORA and M’HAMMID desert where people are Bedouins. Camels with guide will take you to desert during spectacular sunset and enjoy a grateful view of sand with great silence and peacefulness of region.

A unique pleasure of enjoying the sun rise on the sand dune. Then left desert behind you will head up into ATLAS Mountains to TODGHA gorge. The Gorge is a trench of gigantic rock walls that, change color and run through the High Atlas Mountains creating an absolutely magnificent spectacle. Many travelers visit the TODGHA Gorge as they journey through the south on the ‘Road of One Thousand Kasbahs, a route from DADES to ERFOUD where these century old pies fortifications remain. The mining town of TINGHIR is the base town for visiting the TODGHA Gorge. The Gorge is breathtaking and easy hike by foot with many places to stop to photograph along its well-maintained dirt road. Part of the spectacular scenery includes an opportunity to see how the local Berbers live as nomads, as they stroll through the gorges many winding roads herring their donkeys and camels. And follow the remainder of the route des Kasbahs to EL KELAA MGOUNA then to DADES valley. Overnight in DADES valley.
The DADES Gorge is spectacularly beautiful and the drive down is scenic all the way. It’s very tempting to stop every now and again, but make sure you reach your destination because of the scenery just keeps getting better, after the visit you will passing the rose valley . The town is famous for its sea of pink Persian rose landscapes. El KELAA MEGOUNA has a vast distilling plant, Cap and Floral that accounts for producing liters of rose water popular in the nation’s cooking and perfumery. The rose capital also produces other goods made of eau de rose such as hand and body soaps, oil, crème perfume and dried flowers that are popular among Moroccans and tourists.
The road will then takes you the palm oasis of SKOURA. Arrive to OURZAZATE where it’s just hop AIT BEN HADDOU, its built on hilltop that offers panoramic views of the world below.
Finley a crossing the dramatic pass of TIZI N’TICHKA 2260m through the Atlas Mountain that offers a splendid view of the snow covered Berber villages and trees. Then arrive to Marrakech in the afternoon.
